  • Where: Dak Rong Primary Boarding School 2017 - 2018

  • Total investment amount: 
    596,000,000 VND (nearly 26,000 USD)

  • Impact: 

    • Organic farming: Additional 120 gr of vegetable and 2 eggs for each child / week, over many years​​

    • Pig raising: when the pigs reach 70 to 80 kg, the children at school have 120 grams of meat / week. Remaining meat is for sell and self-fund next cycles of baby pigs again and again

  • Total investment amount: 50,740,000 VND ( nearly 2200 USD)

  • Impact: A reliable source of income to fund education at Teresa Ethnic Home, building on an existing capacity of Teresa Ethnic Home to obtain a sustainable solution. The result of greenhouse organic farming exceeds our expectation of vegetable growing activities.

Kitchen & Dining Room

Summary

  • Where: Vinh Son Orphanage-6, February-April 2015

  • Total investment amount: 95,000,000 VND   (nearly 4,500 USD)

  • Impact: Clean and healthy meals can be prepared in a hygienic kitchen and dining environment

Music Equipments

Summary

  • Where: Teresa Ethnic Home, March-May 2014

  • Total investment amount: 41,200,000 VND  (nearly 2,000 USD)

  • Impact: Children can now enjoy music education - can choose to perform to tourists during summer vacation and weekends, and let their talents shine, which also helps to contribute to the education funding at Teresa Ethnic Home

  • Total investment amount: 30,000,000 VND (nearly 1,500 USD)

  • Impact: Sustainable monthly income of around  10,000,000 VND contri-buting to funding for education; Children and 
    people of ethnic group can sign up for courses on how to grow vegetable - through this they realize how farming could be a reliable source of income
    Farm has increased from 1,000 m2 in 2013 to 2,500 m2 by 2014

  • Where: Vinh Son Orphanage-4, Kon Rẫy Village, Kontum Province

  • Total investment amount: 
    60,000,000 VND (nearly 3,000 USD)

  • Impact: Provide a safe way to cross river instead of swimming during rain and winter seasons, avoiding risk of kids being exposed to extremely strong river flows
